In addition, LEADER Local Action Groups put aside funds specifically to support joint projects with other areas - either other areas within the UK (trans-regional projects) or other areas within Europe (transnational projects).

The Forth Valley & Lomond LEADER Local Action Group is keen to see more trans-regional and transnational projects coming forward for funding, as the value added to projects by including a UK or European dimension can be immense.

If you would like assistance in finding other areas to link up with, the Support Team at FVL LEADER will be able to assist you.  Equally, if you already have links with another area, we can liaise with the local LEADER Local Action Group for you.  Or if you are from another area, and would like to find a partner in the Forth Valley and Lomond area, we can assist you too.  We speak English, French and Spanish - and are happy to try other languages too!

The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) has been set up to facilitate this with a Contact Point for each member state, and also organises occasional seminars, manages a database of good practice projects and runs a website
