We recognise the amount of work that goes into applying for funding and planning a project. The EOI stage helps us give you the most useful early stage feedback, and saves you time working on a full application.
We accept Expressions of Interest for funding at any time, however this is an annual funding programme, and applications closed for this year in May 2026. If you have a project in development for 2026/2027 then please do get in touch.
If you have smaller projects in development in 2026 which can be completed by March 2027, then we would still be interested in hearing about your plans, additional funding does on occasions become available.
The Local Action Group (LAG) sets the maximum grant amount once allocations of funds from the Scottish Government have been confirmed. This changes each year, but as an example, Capital funds are capped at £15K per project, and Revenue projects at £30K for the 2026 programme.
