Happy New Year from FVL LEADER

With the New Year upon us, it's a great opportunity to give some more detail on the new project we have embarked on with CrowdfunderUK under the banner of CrowfundScotland.  The project is to coach and mentor community groups and businesses in the rural area who are thinking of undertaking Crowdfunding campaigns.  It’s called Crowdfund Scotland (it also includes 8 other LEADER areas too).

The project has just started and the first workshop for projects has been scheduled for Friday 18th January 2018 – at 11am - 12 in Stirling at STEP (the same building the LEADER team are based in).  There will be other workshops in the future if you can’t make this one as the project will be running for 18 months - but we expect take up across all areas to be quite high.  The workshop will also be broadcast live on the Crowdfunder Youtube channel (which will be available during and after the workshop).

Bringing Scottish communities together

We're in Scotland helping to make great ideas happen through a combination of expert crowdfunding coaching, events and grants.

Crowdfund Scotland is for everyone in Scotland with an idea that can transform their community.

Our expert coaches are on the ground, sharing their crowdfunding expertise and know-how in Forth Valley and Lomond, Fife, Scottish Borders, Rural Perth and Kinross, Tyne Esk, West Lothian, Kelvin Valley and Falkirk, Greater Renfrewshire and Inverclyde and Lanarkshire.

We're hosting workshops and events to help you bring your idea to life.

And we've got extra funding worth up to £5,000 for your project from our funding partners.

The Crowdfund Scotland project is being part-financed by the Scottish Government and the European Community LEADER 2014 – 2020 Programme.
