New Rural Business Hub Comes to Drymen

2018 will see exciting developments for family business, Fraser C Robb, in Drymen.

The business will be constructing a Drymen Business Hub! this new facility, made possible with funding contributions from Forth Valley & Lomond LEADER and Stirling Council, will provide much needed new services for rural businesses, including meeting rooms, a business parcel delivery point and hot desk facilities.

One of the directors of Fraser C Robb – Lorna Robb, said, ‘It is well known that rural areas suffer from a lack of resources for business, especially start-ups.  Whilst planning a showroom expansion we realised that we had an opportunity to create additional space that will really make a difference to the local business community.

As well as providing office environment and resources, Drymen Business Hub will also offer rural recruitment services, networking and training courses’.

The Chair of the LEADER Group, Peter Sunderland, said “The LEADER Local Action Group was really impressed with the strong fit with the Local Development Strategy for the area and with the joint approach coming from Fraser C Robb and the Council to the benefit of businesses and communities in this area, and thought this would make an excellent example of how projects might be delivered in the future in the Forth Valley and Lomond area”.

In addition to the funded project, Fraser C Robb are expanding the showroom area for the family business, allowing them to display more examples of their ever-expanding range of ground care and garden equipment. Looks like 2018 will be a busy and exciting time for this rural business.
