How to Apply

Application process flowchart

Next application deadline: August 1st 2017 (for September 2017 LAG meeting)

The first stage in applying to Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER is to look at our Local Development Strategy and to determine how closely your project fits with our strategic objectives.

If you feel that your project meets some or more of our strategic objectives then you have to fill in an Expression of Interest form.

Expression of Interest form

Once you've filled in this form the Scottish Rural Network will forward it to us and we will contact you about your project.  If we agree that your project seems to fit with our objectives then we will arrange to visit you and further discuss your project - it is only at this point that we would pass on an application form.

Our Local Action Group has 4 quarterly meetings per year where grant applications are assessed.

Our deadlines for applications are 6 weeks in advance of these meetings in order that the staff team can work closely with applicants to develop the application before going to the LAG for assessment.  Projects would then only be able to start once the LEADER staff team have received a signed grant acceptance letter.
